WaterSupply - Water Utility Management Platform

Project Story
From idea to Result
Context
WaterSupply is a full-featured utility management platform built for water supply companies to digitize meter reading, billing, and client management. It replaces manual paperwork with a role-based system covering three types of users: clients, field meter readers, and office/admin staff, built on an Angular frontend backed by a Spring Boot REST API.
Field operators are assigned geographic 'sets' — grouped by street and building — and use a dedicated interface to track reading progress, submit new watermeter readings, and flag unread meters within the monthly collection window. Office operators manage water rate and sewerage fee configuration, generate invoices in bulk from submitted readings, and monitor payment status across the client base. Spring Security handles authentication and role-based authorization, while Hibernate and Flyway manage data persistence and versioned PostgreSQL migrations.
Clients get a self-service portal to check their contract status, watermeter history, submit readings during the open window, view itemized invoices with consumption breakdowns, and pay online through Stripe. The admin dashboard ties everything together with real-time billing trends, watermeter and contract distribution charts, and official client and contract registers.
