EDentalClinic - Dental Practice Management Platform

Context

EDentalClinic is a full-featured practice management platform built for modern dental clinics to digitize patient records, clinical workflows, and appointment scheduling. It replaces manual paperwork with a role-based system covering four main types of users: doctors (dentists), medical assistants, patients, and radiologists, built on a dynamic Angular frontend backed by a secure Spring Boot REST API.

Medical assistants serve as the front line of the clinic, using a dedicated dashboard to register new patients and manage the overarching appointment calendar. Doctors are provided with a specialized interface to track their daily schedules, search and access detailed patient files, and add new clinical exams during consultations. Doctors can also manage their network of affiliated radiologists, ensuring a cohesive diagnostic process.

Patients get a self-service portal where they can browse the clinic's medical team and schedule specific imaging procedures, such as X-rays. The radiologist dashboard ties the diagnostic loop together, allowing imaging specialists to receive X-ray scheduling requests, manage their daily workflow, and seamlessly integrate their findings back into the patients' electronic health records. Hibernate and Flyway manage data persistence and versioned PostgreSQL migrations, while Spring Security handles authentication and role-based access.
